WHY DO WE NEED A CHANGE?

• For 3 years, we have not met the Quorum (50% or 113 homes) required to conduct our annual meeting; a 2nd meeting was required.
  
• Residents who attended and/or sent in proxies were frustrated.
  
• Transition to a new Board was delayed.
  
• Costs related to renting a site for the meeting were essentially wasted.
  
• No other community in our area has a quorum requirement this high.

• The Board approved a recommendation to change the quorum requirement to 20% (recommended by DUCIOA, the regulatory statute for communities like ours) for the 1st meeting and 10% for a second meeting, if needed.
  
• The HOA’s attorney approved the language of this recommendation.
  
• A message has been sent out to clarify that only ONE article change is proposed, and no other articles will be affected.

• Online voting will begin MAY 21. An email will be sent to each homeowner that will include a link to the ballot and a voting code specific to the correlating lot/address (one vote per address).

• In-house voting will take place at the Clubhouse on:
  Tuesday, June 11 (8:30 am to 7:30 pm) and
  Saturday, June 15 (8:30 am to 1:00 pm).
  
• We need 113 YES votes for this change to pass. Please vote either online or in person!
